DUCKY IS...
A Detroit
based artist
.....who hasn't put down a drawing pencil since she was 3 years old. Her passion for illustrating stems from the direct & cultural influences of both her mother & beloved late grandmother , whom always put something in her hand (books, clay, paint, crayons etc) to fuel her imagination and creativity. Common themes in her series are her usage of saturated color, the muse of the woman, and the slow-but-sure journey into low fantasy x surrealism.
The first of the three Ducky interestingly considers to be a milestone. "Somewhere in my childhood I became very hesitant with color, " she admits, "-and stopped using it in favor of graphite, specifically #2 pencils. Eventually I found my way back around after pushing myself to add colored pencils into my arsenal, looking back--I'm happy I did."These days, Ducky maintains her lifelong dream of creating art for a living as a freelancer/commission artist, selling hand-painted original works as well. Her current tools of the trade are watercolors, inks, and colored pencil....but she's recently begun tackling pastels and full gouache works. Still painting, still creating.......still trying to figure out how to draw & paint grass.

This artist reserves the right to repost commissions. This artist reserves the right to deny commissions.
This artist reserves the right to update their terms at any given time.Unless agreed upon otherwise, commissions are not for commercial usage (or resale) on part of both the artist and commissioner.
Requested changes are encouraged during the initial drafting stage. DuckySoba does not accept adjustment requests on or after the final draft.
At least 3 clear photo references of the clients' request will be asked to be provided regarding portrait commissions.
SHIPPING
Please allow up to 14 standard business days for delivery once notified of confirmed shipment (US). (International timing may vary.) Holiday seasons, postal restrictions, and customs may influence delivery time-frames.
Payments
This artist requires payment to be made in-readiness via a non-refundable 50% deposit. A due balance is required upon display of the completed painting, which will not be released until payment is completed. As of this time, payments are accepted via Stripe (preferably) or CA.
If for any reason a client is unable to complete payment at the time that their piece is finished, the artist will store the painting for 45 days.
If a client does not respond within 45 days of being notified that their piece has been finished, the client thereby forfeits their rights toward the commission.
Works are 100% refundable due to cancellation on part of the artist. They are 50% refundable if the parcel is lost by post while within transit. All pieces are insured. (Clientele have the option to choose whether they would like their partial refund, or a fine-art print in equal size of their original shipped instead. )
